Jammu Taekwondo meet begins

JAMMU: The 23rd District Jammu Taekwondo Championship got underway on Saturday at Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha complex, here under the banner of District Association, here.
Around 250 Participants boys and girls representing 15 clubs of the district are taking part in this event, a handout issued by the Association here today informed.
Those winners of the district meet shall play at the State level competition in near future, the handout mentioned.
The event was declared open by President of the J&K Taekwondo Association, DN Pangotra, who was the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by the Guests of Honour, Manager of Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Romesh Chander and President NMC, Subash Shastri.
The technical team in this competition is headed by Atul Pangotra (referee chairman, TFI).
The competition shall conclude on December 20 with the holding of valedictory function.
