RAMBAN: Two-day District Ramban Volleyball Championship being organised by the District Association Ramban under the aegis of Volleyball Association of J&K commenced on Sunday at Government Higher Secondary School Ramban here. The championship is sponsored by J&K Sports Council.
The championship in which 10 teams of boys section in junior and senior categories are participating was declared open by the Chief Guest, Rajinder Singh Chib, DySP Hqrs Ramban in presence of Principal of the host school, , Anil Kumar Sharma and Coordinator, Raj Singh.
The Chief Guest interacted with the participating teams and also witnessed the opening matches.

Volleyball Club Evergreen beat Lovely Club by 2-1 (25-16, 25-9); Volleyball Club Sadabahar beat Chanderkote Club by 2-0 (25-17, 25-22); Volleyball Club Shadab beat Pernote Club by 2-0 (25-21, 27-25); Volleyball Club Aqib Sports beat Prince Club Nachalana by 2-0 (25-23, 25-22); Volleyball Club Shadab beat Evergry Club by 2-1 (25-17, 19-25, 15-5); Volleyball Club Sadabahar defeated Aqib Club by 2-0 (25-15, 25-20).
