BHADARWAH: Police on Saturday nabbed a bootlegger and recovered huge quantity of illict liquor from his possession.
Giving details Doda Police said that a party of Police Station Bhaderwah laid a Naka at Chinar Mohalla of Bhaderwah and during checking one vehicle (VAN) bearing registration No. JK06-8034 driven by one Sanjay Kumar son of Kamal Nain resident of village Bhadrote (Bhadawah) was stopped and during checking, (39) bottles of illicit liquor was recovered from his possession which he had carried in the van for the purpose of selling illegally. In this regard, FIR No. 35/2023 under relevant section has been registered at Police Station Bhadarwah and investigation of the case has been taken up.
