SAMBA: Youth Congress activists observed 74th birthday of AICC president Sonia Gandhi by distributing eatables among small children here today.
The programme was organized by Nimrandeep Singh, General Secretary JKPYC in which District Youth Congress Samba President, Sushil Bhagat, Assembly Youth Congress Presidents of Samba and Vijaypur Sumit Bhagat & Rakshit Sharma were also present.
The Youth Congress activists distributed fruits, chips and foot- wears among the small children.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh expressed that AICC president has contributed and sacrificed a lot for the integrity of the country. Sonia Gandhi who has acted as the guiding light for the Congress is also an exemplary leader, he said.
Singh emphasized that the party workers and members should follow the footsteps of Sonia Gandhi and try to imbibe her principles and work towards realising her dream for a developed country.
He appealed to the party workers to pray for the longevity of Party President’s.
Singh said that Sonia Gandhi’s dream to bring in a ‘New India’ where the people live in peace and harmony.
Under the abled leadership of the AICC president, India is marching strongly towards development, he asserted.
Singh said “Congress workers will leave no stone unturned in order to realise Sonia Gandhi’s dream for a ‘New India’.
The AICC President is exemplary for her sacrifices for the welfare and development of the country.”
