SRINAGAR: Police on Wednesday arrested a notorious and chronic drug peddler from Saina-Bawa area and recovered 8 Kg poppy straw and 105 grams cannabis from his possession.
The drug peddler has been indetified as Ghulam Mohahmmad Sheikh alias Gul Naik , son of Mohammad Sultan Sheikh, resident of Baran-Pathar Batmaloo. A case vide FIR No. 80/2018 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Batamaloo and investigation has been taken up.
