JK Public School Kunjwani wins six gold medals in Taekwando

JAMMU: Budding martial art players of JK Public School Kunjwani made the school proud by winning six gold medals in the Inter-school District Jammu Taekwando Championship organised by District Youth Services and Sports at MA Stadium from April 25 to 28, 2018.
The gold medal winner students were Momin Gafoor, Nirmal Singh, Siya Saini, Randheer Kour, Muskan Choudhary and Jessika Singh.
The winners were felicitated in the morning assembly on Tuesday by the Principal, S.K Singh.
The school staff and management also congratulated all of them and Coach Arvind Satti for their brilliant success. They wished them luck for future endeavours,
Speaking on the occasion principal said, “Taekwando is one of the martial arts in JK Public School Sports Calendar which makes the students learn all the essential life skills.”
He added, “It does not just help them develop resilience and personal strengths but also helps them build friendships and essential skills such as moral character, teamwork and time management.”
