SRINAGAR: To celebrate the Alumni Meet 2018, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) enthralled NIT Alumni here.
The programme was inaugurated by V Ram Gopal Rao, Director, Indian Institute of Technology New Delhi, who was also the Chief Guest. K.K Sharma, Former Secretary, MHRD Delhi and Dr. M.J Zarabi, former Chairman were the Guests of Honour and P.C Kapoor, V.K Magotra, MD BLSKS and M.L Dogra, Chairman BLSKS were also present.
Earlier, BLSKS also celebrated International Dance Day and presented its 206th musical play ‘Duggar Nach’. The skits, slogans songs and dances were presented to make the masses aware on the topic of the day.
The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective through the artists.
Among those who performed in the programme were Usha Handoo, M.C Kotwal, Sudesh Kumari, Chahat Chadha, Kuldeep Raj, Rajinder Singh Saini, Tilak Raj, Gouri Lal, Prakriti Sharma, Rakshita Sharma and Kamla Devi. The programe was conducted by K.K Joshi.
