BHADARWAH: Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Bhadarwah, Rajinder Singh, on Monday inaugurated Inter-Zone District Level Tournament of district Doda, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Bhadarwah, here.
The tournament in which 350 players of all 10 zones of the district are participating is being held in the disciplines of kho-kho, kabaddi, badminton, handball, volleyball, throw ball, carom and chess for under-17 and under-14 boys.
The tournament is being held under the directions of Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports, Madan Lal and the supervision of DYSSO Doda, Ashok Kumar Kotwal.
Principal of host School, Shabnam Nigar was the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
Besides ZEPOs, PEMs, PETs, technical and field staff of DYSSO, others present were SHO Bhadarwah Munir Khan, Arif Rana, Murtaza Qadir and Abdul Haq.
