JAMMU: Students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning medals in Eight State Shooting Championship organised recently by J&K Rifle Association at General Zorawar Singh Rifle Club, Bari Brahmana.
The winners were felicitated by Dilbag Singh, DGP Prisons and S.S Sodhi, Director DPS Jammu.
Divyansh Singh Charak (X-K) won gold medal, Anahita Sharma (IX-B) and Ikjyot Singh Gujral (XII-J) silver medals in youth category while Aryaman Slathia (X-D) and Sachida Sharma (IX-B) bagged silver medal each in Sub-Junior category.
Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners for their proud achievement and wished them luck for the next level competition. She also appreciated their Coach Jagdish Singh. Headmistress, DPS Jammu, Meenu Gupta also applauded the winners and their coach. President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh and Pro Vice Chairperson, Ritu Singh extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents.
