RAJOURI: In order to strengthen the bond between the local populace and the army, regular interactions are organised by the army. Continuing the trend, a Quami Ekta Meet was organised today at village Lunidarman, district Rajouri, in which a constructive interaction was held on ‘Prosperity Through Education and Skill Development’.
More than 140 villagers from Lunidarman including opinion makers were present for the interaction and expressed their views on the subject. The Awam was also informed about the pivotal role played by the army in women and youth empowerment and the variousskill development projects undertaken by the army.
The villagers and school authorities appreciated and applauded the support provided by the army in all spheres.
Speaking on the occasions, the sarpanch of the village said that such meetings enhance the bond between Army and Awam also boost the morale of the locals which in turn assists in maintaining peace and harmony in the region.
