JAMMU: Jammu Cultural Forum (JCF) organised a multilingual Mushiara ‘Majlis’ here on Sunday. A large number of poets of Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Dogri recited their poetry in the Mushiara. Prof Lalit Magotra was the Chief Guest and Om Prakash Vidyarthi was the Special Guest on this occasion.
Welcoming the guests, Sham Sajan, President JCF informed that the forum has many programmes at far flung areas as well residential places of the noted contributors in the field of culture in all its genres.
The poets who participated in this Majlis include Deepak Aarsi, Dr Baljeet Singh Raina, Col Raj Manawari, K.K Shakir, Usha Kiran Kiran, Jang S Verman, Tara Chand Kalandari, Suraj Ratan, Sham Sajan, Gyaneshwar Sharma, Anila Singh Charak, Varun Veer, Dr Nirmal Vinod, Pritpal Singh Betab and Prof Lalit Gupta.
Amarjeet Kaur Neer, Kuldip Gupta, Vinay Sharma and Ashok Dutta were present among others. Prof. Lalit Magotra, in his address, said that such Mushiara integrate the people through various mediums of expressions. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Sham Sajan.
