JAMMU: CII in collaboration with Berger Paints India Ltd Samba had organized an industrial visit for MIET College students here on Saturday for imparting pragmatic knowledge about the industrial processes.
Vinay Sharma, Factory Manager and team elucidated the entire paint manufacturing process information from manufacturing to dispatch with due course of supply chain management. The visit included the glance of various divisions of the company including the manufacture of different types of primer, decorative and metallic paints, resins used in paint manufacturing, R & D of the plant and quality control department, etc. where the role of chemists was imperative. A formal deliberation regarding the company’s procedure and a protocol were also given by the management.
Students from MIET College became familiar with industry practices and regulations during industry visit.
Prof B.C Sharma facilitated the students to broaden their viewpoint and gather knowledge about working process of the company.
