KATHUA: Department of Indian System of Medicine organised a free medical checkup/awareness camp at PHC Dinga Amb under IEC activities on Friday.
The camp was inaugurated by Sarpanch of the village Kuldeep Gupta. In the camp, 210 patients were examined and provided free medicines for various ailment.
The patients were also mad aware by the doctors to take precautions against seasonal diseases and use of local herbs available at doorstep by the way of Ayurveda.
IEC District Coordinator Dr. Rajesh Basotra along with team of doctors and paramedical staff namely Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Dr. Sanjeet Sharma, Dr. Seema Sharma, Dr. Ritu Bala and Pharmacist Kuldeep Kumar and Ram Saran were present. The camp was organised as per guidelines laid by Divisional Nodal Officer IEC Dr. Rohit Gupta and ADMO Kathua Dr. Deepika Sankhyadhar.
