DODA: Police on Thursday arrested a person and recovered 37 pouches of liquor from his possession.
As per the details, a team of Police Post Khellani led by SI Ravinder Kumar and SHO Police Station Doda Inspector Manjeet Singh laid a Naka at Khellani and intercepted one Van (JK06-1348) driven by Chander Kumar son of Gyan Chand resident of Kharkole Khellani. During checking, 37 pouches of Desi Whisky JK Excise was recovered from his possession. He was arrested and a case vide FIR No 03/2018 under section 48-a Excise Act was registered against him at Police Station Doda.
