SAMBA: Police on Thursday recovered a lost mobile and handed over to its owner.

According to a report, on Dec19, 2017 a person namely Roshan Lal son of Ram Dass resident of Mandhera Tehsil and district Samba lodged a missing report at Police Station Samba that his mobile phone has been lost in Samba area. Acting on the complaint, SHO Police Station Samba took the assistance of technical team of DPO Samba and traced out the missing mobile. On Thursday, SSP Samba Anil Magotra, handed over the said mobile phone to the owner. The owner of the said mobile phone was very happy and locals of the area appreciated the assistance shown by the District Police Samba. SSP Samba advised the general public that while lodging mobile missing/lost complaints at Police Stations, the complainants should furnish complete information including their name and address, model and make of lost mobile, their contact no. , e-mail address, date of loss and IMEI Nos. The IMEI Nos. can be obtained by typing *#06# added by SSP Samba.

It is worthwhile to mention here that 145 missing mobile phones have been traced/ recovered during the year 2017 by District Police Samba under the direct supervision of SSP Samba.
