UDHAMPUR: A housewife attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substance in her house at Udhampur while a youth also attempted suicide in Nowshera.
According to a report, 31 years Anjali Devi wife of Kewal Singh resdient of village Farna (Selmehri) in Udhampur took some poisonous substances in her house to end her life. However on seeing her lying unconscious her family members shifted her to District hospital Udhampur. Doctors washed her stomach and till filing last report her condition was stated to be stable. Police has registered a case for investigation.
Meanwhile, 18 years Amit Kumar son of Bal Krishan resident of Bhawani, Teshil Nowshera took some poisonous substance in his house. He was shifted to Nowshera Hospital from where he was further shifted to GMC Hospital Jammu on being critical.
