POOCNH: In a major fire, three shops were gutted in Poonch Market late Wednesday evening.
As per the reports, a fire broke out in a Mobile shop in Poonch market due to short-circuit and spread to two other shops (Chicken shop and Mobile shop) close to it. The fire tenders were informed but by the time they manage to control the fire a Mobile shop which belongs to Imran son of Mohd Basheer resident of Poonch was reduced to ashes while a Chicken shop belonging to Shabir Ahmed son of Ghulam Mohd and Mobile shop of Sajjad Ahmed resident of Mohalla Kamsar have also suffered loss. DySp Hqrs Shaheed Naeem and SHO Poonch Ajay Jamwal also reached the spot and started investigation to ascertain the actual cause of fire.
