JAMMU: Christian Star and Mussa Club on Tuesday emerged winner in the ongoing Football League of DFA Jammu at GGM Science College Ground, here.
In the first match, Christian Star downed Engineers XI 2-0. Vinay Mooman and Anar were the scorers, who netted the ball in the 35th and 58th minutes of the match respectively.
Meanwhile, in other scheduled match of the day, Mussa Club trounced State Football Academy by a solitary goal. The only goal of the match came through Chirag in the 65th minute.
In the third match of the day, Shaheen Football Club defeated Vijay Club 1-0. Aashish Mehra was the lone scorer, who netted the ball in the 27th minute.
In fourth scheduled match of the day, Young Rovers held Young Hero’s 2-2. Lakshi Sharma (7th) and Abhimanyu Saini (21st) were the scorers from Young Rovers while Deepak Angral (19th) and Basu (65th) netted the ball from Young Hero’s.
Today’s matches were officiated by the technical panel including Sanjay Kumar, Moon Stephen, Dinesh Verma, Ricky Kumar, Dil Bahadur, Vijay Kumar, Rinku Gill and Romesh.
