JAMMU: Cadet Prem Kumar of class X of Sainik School Nagrota clocked the best timing of 1 hr 50 min to cover the distance of 21.1 Kms Half Marathon organised at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala on Sunday.
Earlier, a contingent of 15 cadets from the school was flagged off by Captain (Indian Navy) A Muthuraman, Principal to participate Half Marathon.
The principal said, “It was the first time in the history of the school that cadets participated in officially organised Half Marathon.”
The contingent, he said, received rigorous practice under the personal motivation and guidance of Squadron Leader Vipin Sharma, Administrative Officer of the School.
The contingent was escorted to Kerala by BBR Chibber, TGT (SSt) and CHM T.P Chandran, PTI of the School.
