NAGROTA: Former Cabinet Minister and MLC, Ajatshatru Singh inaugurated various developmental works and inspected ongoing works which were carried out under Constituency Development Fund in Nagrota Constituency.
The BJP legislator visited Aithem Panchayat and adjoining areas and inaugurated a transformer and other works that were executed out of his Constituency Development Fund.
While interacting with the people gathered on the occasion, BJP MLC reiterated his resolve to help the poor masses of the area in every respect and to mitigate their woes. He said that despite being close to Jammu city the Nagrota Constituency still lacks basic amenities and lot needs to be done to help people improve their living standards.
Ajatshatru inspected the under construction road from Aithem to Bhair Dev Asthan and assured that the completion of this important road shall be undertaken on priority and warned against some forces hell bent on blocking development for petty political considerations. He said that road connectivity is the priority of this government and every effort shall be made to complete all important roads.
Among those who were present include Kripal Singh, Faqir Singh, Bodh Raj, Nasib Singh, Prakash Sharma, Krishan Lal, Rattan Singh, Prabhu and Mangal Singh.
