3 thieves arrested, stolen property worth lakhs recovered

SURANKOTE: Police on Saturday solved theft cases by arresting three thieves and recovered stolen property worth lakhs rupees.
As per the details, taking serious note of increasing theft incidents in and around Surankote town few days back, a police team led by SHO Surankote Anzir Mir under supervision of DySP Surankote Asgar Malik geared up the process of investigating the cases, in which police started calling the suspected persons for questioning.
Around 150 suspected persons were called to get any breakthrough in the theft cases and during questioning/interrogation police came to know about the gang of thieves who are involved in the recent theft incidents.
Three thieves were arrested in this regard which were identified as Basharat Hussain son of Ab. Khaliq resident of Kaller, Mohd Arif son of Ab. Majid resident of Naka Manjhari and Nazarat Hussain son of Said Mohd resident of JWG. On their disclosure almost all the stolen property worth lakhs of rupees have been recovered. The recovered items include mobile phones, cash, currency Malas, essential commodities etc.
