Dogra College holds slogan writing contest

JAMMU: On the occasion of World AIDS Day, National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Dogra College of Education (DCE) on Friday organised a slogan writing competition on the theme ‘AIDS-Myth or Reality’.
The programme was held under the supervision of Nishu Saproo, NSS Programme Officer.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal, Dogra College of Education addressed his concern over the fact that even among the educated masses, there is ignorance about HIV.
40 teacher trainees took part in the event. Neha Devi, Archana Kumari and Reena Bala were adjudged first, second and third respectively while Pratibha Choudhary was given the consolation prize.
The judges of the event were Vintee Kumari, Gopika Sharma and Tina Sharma.
Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Sharat Chander Khajuria, Director Administration and Campus Development, Dogra Educational Trust, Shefali Sharma, Academic Coordinator, Dogra College of Education and other staff members were also present. They appreciated the hard work of the teacher trainees to spread the awareness about HIV AIDS.
