NOWSHERA: The staff and students of Government Boys Higher Secondary School Nowshera celebrated the 548th Prakash Utsav of first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji on Friday in which the school served Prasad to the border migrants sheltered in the school.
While addressing the audience, Lecturer Gurcharan Singh threw light on the life and contributions of Guru Ji, he said that Guru Nanak Ji preached to serve humanity by doing good to others and remembering the only Creator – Almighty.
Prominent persons who were present on the occasion included Ashok Kumar principal, Jugal Kishore Rakesh Choudhary and Sardar Attamjeet Singh . Programme was concluded with Ardas – by Sarabjit Singh Lecturer in Punjabi.
