KATHUA: Police on Thursday seized 10 litres of Desi liquor and destroyed 100 Kg Lahan while conducting raid here.
According to report, a police party from Police Station Rajbagh led by SI Mohinder Singh conducted a raid at Village Ladwal, Tehsil Marheen and seized 10 litres of Desi liquor from Maskeen Ali, son of Manga, resident of Mahadev Basholi. Police also recovered 100 litre Lahan which was destroyed on the spot.
In this connection, a case FIR No 221/2017 under Section 48 E Excise Act was registered at Police Station Rajbagh.
The recovery was made by SI Mohinder Singh under the supervision of Inspector Sarbjeet Singh SHO Rajbagh and Ravail Choudhary, SDPO Border Chadwal.
