JAMMU: Range Police Headquarters (RPHQ), Jammu, on Sunday gave a farewell to Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, DIG JSK Range, Jammu, on his elevation as Inspector General of Police and subsequent to his further posting as IGP CIV PHQ J&K Srinagar.
The outgoing officer was presented memento on behalf of the staff of RPHQ Jammu by Dr. S.D Singh, IGP Jammu Zone Jammu.
During farewell function, the officer highlighted the working of Ashkoor Ahmed Wani. “It was a time to bid eventful career as police officer. Range Police Headquarter will miss his experience and knowledge bank gained by him during his service career,” he added.
