Dussehra victory of good over evil: Yudhvir Sethi

JAMMU: On the occasion of Dussehra festival a grand and impressive Shobha Yatra was taken out by Sanatan Dharam Sabha and Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj led by its Chairman Yudhvir Sethi.
The Shobha Yatra started from Deewan Mandir and after passing through main bazaars of the city including Moti Bazar, Rajtilak Road, Purani Mandi, Old Hospital Road, City Chowk and Raghunath Bazar culminated at Parade Ground.
The Shobha Yatra which was taken out on well decorated chariots with tableaux of Bhagwan Rama, Lakshman and Hanuman was highly appreciated by all and received by people drawn from different sections of the society.
Location artists who performed in nine days long Ramleela took part in the Yatra and entire management of Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj made elaborate arrangement for the Yatra. Local artists who had played the role of Bhagwan Rama along with Lakshman burnt the effigies of Ravana and Kumbhkarna using arrows while Lakshman burnt Meghnad.
People drawn from all walks of life enthusiastically participated in the Shobha Yatra.
Before flagging off the Yatra, Sethi said that with each passing day Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj and Sanatan Dharam Sabha are putting in their best efforts of make Ramleela and Shobha Yatra impressive. He said that Dussehra depicts victory of good over evil and extended greetings to people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Others who were present on the occasion include Anil Massom, Gurdas Kumar, Sat Sharma, Ramnik Mahajan, Sunny Sehgal, Sanjeev Kerni, Govind Sareen, Ashish Sareen, Ravi Singh, Ved Padha and Ramesh Kumar .
