Dear Editor,
One can understand it to be logical if India reaches agreements or signs MoUs with Japan in the fields of automobile, electronic, robotic or bullet train technology since Japan is the pioneer in all these fields. But I fail to understand what type of help or assistance India can receive from Japan in the fields of culture, tradition and heritage in making Varanasi a heritage city. It is India that is the leader here.
