Time demands reorganisation of State for separate Jammu: Mankotia

JAMMU: Panther Party’s State President Balwant Singh Mankotia on Sunday reiterated its demand to reorganise the Jammu and Kashmir so that Jammu region can become separate State.
Leading the Haq-insaaf Yatra, Mankotia blamed the BJP-PDP Government which has failed to handle the present situation in Jammu and Kashmir and further delay may deteriorate the situation in state.
While addressing the series of rallies at Ranjan, Chak Bhalwal, Gour, Badral Kalan, Gad Soul, Muthi of district Jammu, Mankotia reiterated that time has come to reorganise Jammu and Kashmir so that Jammu become separate State.
He warned the Central Government that if timely action is not taken then situation will turn ugly and asked to consider the demand of reorganisation of State.
Mankotia informed the gathering that movement started by the Panthers Party for separate statehood for Jammu region is getting huge response from each corner of the region.
Huge support proves that patriotic people of Jammu region are now aware and would not become slaves of Kashmiri and New Delhi leaders, he said adding that national parties like Congress and BJP have befooled the people of Jammu region by false promises during elections.
After came to power, he said, they ditched voters of Jammu region by compromising the interest of Jammu people and now people of the region are feeling insecure.
He blamed the successive regimes of the State for ignoring the educated youth of Jammu region by not providing adequate employment to them and even adopted biased approach in development activities in Jammu region.
People are now fed up with the Kashmir centric policies of national parties and now separate Jammu State is the viable option to end discrimination in every sector and time has come to reorganise the State so that people of Jammu region can live a dignified life in separate Jammu State.
