UDHAMPUR: The election for electing Chairman of Udhampur Rotary Eye and General Welfare Foundation was held at Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur on Saturday in which Prof. P. L Suri was nominated as Returning Officer for the smooth conduct of the election.
The election was concluded in a very happy atmosphere, about 90 per cent of the members of the new Governing Body participated and voted in favour of Rtn D. N Sharma.
The chairman nominated Governing Body members with portfolios to assist the foundation for smooth functioning of the organisation which include Rtn V. S Raja as Sr. Vice Chairman, Rtn Kamal Gupta-Vice Chairman, Rtn Rajendra Sanson-Secretary General, Rtn Puran Lal Sharma-Secretary/ Incharge Dental Section, Rtn S. S Kerni-Finance Secretary, Rtn Pritam Kotwal-Joint Secretary, Rtn Rajeev Gupta-Legal/ Financial Advisor, Rtn Col Hargovind Singh-Public Relation Officer/ Coordinator, Rtn Surjeet Singh-Director Fund Raising, Rtn Manjeet Singh-Director ENT Section, Rtn Suresh Gupta-Director Blindness Prevention and Rtn Tara Singh-Transport Incharge.
