REASI: Police on Thursday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 54 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, a party of Police Station Reasi led by Inspector Jasbir Singh, SHO Police Station Reasi laid a Naka at IRP Chowk Reasi. During checking/frisking, the police team recovered 54 Pouches of J and K Excise liquor from the possession of Gurbachan Singh son of Baldev Singh resident of Bhabbar Tehsil and District Reasi who was on way from Reasi towards Sulla.
The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 156/2017 under section 48-(A) J and K Excise Act was registered at Police Station Reasi against him.
