JAMMU: The State Government on Wednesday removed Prof Zahoor Ahmad Chat as Chairman J&K State Board of School Education (BOSE) and appointed Secretary of Board Veena Pandita as Incharge Chairperson.
“The government appoints Veena Pandita as Incharge Chairman JKBOSE till such time, the government appoints a new Chairman.”the order states.
Meanwhile, the Government has constituted a search committee for selection of the new Chairman/Chairperson on permanent tenure basis. The members of search committee include Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, Commission Secretary GAD Secretary, School Education Department, Secretary, Law Department and Bashir Ahmad Dar, former Secretary, BOSE.
