AKHNOOR: MLA Akhnoor Rajeev Sharma alongwith SDM Akhnoor Sunaina Sharma held a meeting of all the sectoral officers and discussed the various problems being faced by the people of the constituency during this monsoon season and issued them instructions for their timely redressal. The main issues discussed were chlorination of water tanks in all the schools and water tanks of Primary Health Centres and Sub District Hospital, cleaning of all the drains in municipal area etc.
During this meeting an inspection squad comprising of Tehsildar Maira Mandrian, SDPO Akhnoor, Dy. CEO Akhnoor , SHO Akhnoor and Naib Tehsildar Maira Mandrian was constituted to check the functioning and attendance of all the Govt. institutions viz. Sub District Hospital Akhnoor, Community Health Centre Jourian, other Primary Health Centres, educational institutions higher secondary, middle and primary schools alongwith all the other Govt. offices.
