KATHUA: Police on Tuesday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 25 pouches of liquor from his possession. According to a report, a party of Police Station Kathua acting on a specific information conducted raid at Barnoti and nabbed one bootlegger namely Daleep Kumar son of Soudagar Mal resident of Chack Desa Singh, Kathua and recovered 25 pouches of Indian Made Liquor (Frooties) from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 236/2017 under section 48(F) Excise Act was registered against him at Police Station Kathua.
