JAMMU: Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu students brought laurels for the school by winning six medals including two gold and four bronze in Inter School Fencing Competition held at MA Stadium, here from August 1 to 4, 2017.
The competition was organised by District Youth Sports and Services, Jammu,. The Medal tally is as follows:-
Raghi Verma (VII-G) in under-14 girls and Saksham Gupta (XI-G) in under-19 boys category won gold medal in Epee event. Sarthak Gupta (VI-D) and Chanakya Sambyal (VII-B) in under-14 and Abhijaya Sandhu (IX-E) in under-17 boys and Muskan Soni (XI-E) in under-19 girls categories bagged bronze medal in Sabre event.
Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and their Coach Sabita Sharma for the success. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also expressed her appreciation for the winners.
President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Pro Vice Chairperson, Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to the winners.
