POONCH: The unemployed youths associated by number of social organisations held a strong protest under the leadership of Chairman Insaaf Movement Javed Reshi and burned the effigy of Information Department Poonch for making recruitment in class IV posts through unfair means and nepotism.
The speakers including Javed Reshi of Insaaf Movement, Jugal Kishore President and Koshal Sharma Secy of Samaj Sewa Society, Amit Gupta Secretary ABVP and Gajan Singh Social Activist alleged that the selected candidates were the kiths and kin of the departmental officials due to which the merits get defeated.
They also said that in case the selection is already decided, the entire gamut of making advertisements calling the candidates from distant places and making them undergo unnecessary expenditure, becomes meaningless.
They demanded that such recruitment should be inquired into through a neutral body to uphold the tall claims of corruption free and fair recruitment in the department.
