KATHUA: In view of ongoing holy month of Sawan, a Bhandara was organised in the Shiv Temple of SPS Police Training School, Kathua in which large number of civilians, children from Govt. Middle School, Shaheedhi Chowk Kathua, police officers/officials of District Police and other wings participated.
Besides this, the retired police officers/officials of District Kathua also attended the Bhandara. Before the commencement of Bhandara, Havan Yagya was also performed for the peace and tranquility of the whole universe.
People from all walks of life participated in the Bhandara by showing an example of brotherhood. Such type of events also plays an important role in maintaining the police-public relations. In the morning, Ranjit Kanwar, SSP Principal PTS Kathua checked all arrangements and briefed the concerned officers/officials.
Gurmeet Singh, Dy.SP (Admn), Raghbir Singh, Dy.SP(E&S), Inspr. Arun Sharma(CDI), SI Malagar Chand(SM), HC Rajinder Kumar(BHM) and other officers/officials of SPS PTS Kathua have made sincere efforts under the supervision of Ranjit Kanwar, SSP Principal SPS PTS Kathua for making all the necessary arrangements well in time.
While speaking on the occasion, Principal PTS Kathua thanked all the invitees who paid visit to this institute and made the occasion of Bhandara successful.
