RAJOURI: Member Legislative Council (MLC) Vibodh Gupta alongwith DDC Rajouri Shahid Iqbal, started the construction of multipurpose hall at Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri on Friday in the presence of a big gathering of the locals. This big hall to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.75 crore, will be available to the public to hold various family functions.
In his address Vibodh Gupta said that it was a long pending demand of the people which has been fulfilled. The locals expressed their gratitude to the MLC for his efforts to provide them the facility for holding big functions.
Meanwhile a decision was also taken that the old DIET building will also be renovated to house various offices presently functioning in the rented accommodations.
