JAMMU: Two girl students of KC Public School (KCPS) participated in the 2017 edition of the All India Annual Aquatic Meet hosted by Kolkata Military Station recently and won awards in their preferred styles of swimming.
Saanvi Andotra of Class 8 specialising in free style of swimming stood 3rd in the 50-meter free style event in the under-14 category and brought home a trophy and participation certificate.
Her younger sister Ahana Singh from the Junior Wing of the school also performed well and won second position in the under-10 category in a similar event. In a special assembly held on Thursday, Principal Amarendra Mishra and Headmistress Sofia Rana congratulated the children and their Coach Babita Singh for their outstanding performance at the national level.
