JAMMU: Jammu students excelled in the 13th National Martial Arts Championship organised by CAMAT India in association with Lion’s Club International at Khatri Sabha Pathankot (Punjab).
A total of 450 students took part in the championship as part of Members of Freedom Society, an association of sports and martial arts from Jammu. Chairman of Freedom Society Karun Khajuria won the gold medal under open category.
From DBN Vidya Mandir, Mubarak Mandi, Shivani Vijyal, Nageen Bhat, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhananjay Sharma won gold medals while Deepanshu Jamwal and Tajinder Singh won Silver and Uday Jamwal, Rishab Bali and Chitvan Bali won bronze medals.
From ACM Public School Janipur, Shenbaaz Ahmed won gold while Madhav Sharma and Urvashi Bakshi bagged silver and Sahraan Ashraf Shah and Koushiki Sharma won the bronze medal.
