JAMMU: Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof R.D Sharma on Wednesday released a book on ‘Lifelong learning and sustainable rural development’.
The book consists of 31 chapters on various themes including Lifelong learning and sustainable human development, issues of inclusion, education of dropouts and special children, adult education, sustainability of rural development, rural livelihoods, community development, rural health etc.
The book is edited by Dr Kavita Suri, Director, Department of Lifelong Learning (DLL), University of Jammu. The book has been published by Shubhi Publications, New Delhi.
Prof Sharma congratulated the DLL for this work and wished DLL success for future endeavours. Dr Kavita Suri presented vote of thanks. Others present at the occasion were Dr Pallavi Sachdeva and Dr Sandeep Singh, Assistant Professors DLL.
