RCC enters final of Summer Endurance Cup

JAMMU: Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) on Tuesday qualified for the final of the ongoing Summer Endurance Cup (50-over) Cricket Tournament, organised by Country Cricket Academy at village Gharota, here.
In today’s match, Rainawari defeated Cricket Club Jammu (CCJ). Now, RCC shall take on KCCC in the final slated for a later date.
Earlier, batting first, CCJ made 191 runs losing all their wickets in 38 overs. Harsh Gupta played fine innings of 45 runs while Udhay Pratap made highest 58 runs. Middle order batsman, Harsh contributed 25 runs to the team’s total.
For Rainawari, Abhinav Khajuria emerged as most successful bowler with five wickets. Praful claimed three while Sachin and Karmanya shared apiece each.
In reply, Rainawari achieved the target in 36 overs with four wickets in hand. Rhytham Mahajan and Musaif batted well making 50 and 23 runs respectively. Rhytham, who was well settled on the wicket and batting confidently, met with a run out. Dikshant (31), Praful Dhar (27 not out) and Aditya Pal (15) as also Sachin (14) were other main contributors to the total.
Umer and Udhay Pratap bowled well taking away two wickets each from CCJ. Today’s match besides others was witnessed by former Ranji Trophy cricketer, Vivek Sharma.
