Any compromise with Jihadis will lead to 3rd partition: PK
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Panun Kashmir (PK) warned Government of India that any compromise with the Jihadi forces in Jammu and Kashmir in the name of political process will pave way for the third partition of India claiming that creation of Pakistan and Pak occupied Kashmir were the first two.
This was stated by Dr Ajay Chrungoo Chairman PK while addressing a Press Conference here on Monday.
He said, “India is face to face with Jihad in Jammu and Kashmir, which is a total war for establishing an Islamic Caliphate. Any dithering in recognizing the same shall amount to suicide. Treating it merely as terrorism is self deception. Indian state has not only to stand up to a relentless war by terror but also a paramilitary war being waged by an Islamised social milieu in Jammu and Kashmir. Public disruptions of encounters with terrorists including stone pelting constitute part of this Jihadi war where civil society is used as a sanctuary as well as a civilian shield”.
He said that government can no longer afford to ignore the activities like peace conclaves or the statements of so-called mainstream Muslim leaders of Jammu and Kashmir brazenly supporting the secessionist movement. “It is high time for government of India to recognize these conclaves and political expressions as essentially subversive in nature aiming at meeting the objectives of Jihad half way”, he added.
“We condemn statements of the so called peaceniks who for a long time have been fiddling in the affairs of Jammu and Kashmir only to demoralise the security forces facing a war like situation in the State. We also condemn the derogatory remarks being made against the Army Chief”, he maintained.
He also asserted that there is no permanent solution to the Jihadi war except its total defeat, militarily as well as ideologically. He also hailed the NIA operations within Jammu and Kashmir as well as in rest of India to unearth and destroy the financial support structures of the Jihadi war.
He also demanded CBI probe into the murder of Kashmiri Pandit cop Sameer Bhat.
He said that quadric-partition of Jammu and Kashmir could prove significant in defeating Jihad in J&K. Dr Agnishekher, Convener Panun Kashmir and Vijay Raina President Kashmir Samiti, Delhi were also
present.
