JAMMU: A speeding Swift car hit two girls on National Highway near Wave Mall in Jammu city outskirts on Sunday.
According to a police spokesman, a speeding car bearing registration number JK02BF-7667, driven by unknown person, hit two girls, who have been identified as Asma Farooq, daughter of Farooq Ahmed of Sunjwan and Mehrul Nasal, daughter of Shahid Hussain of Jallalabad.
Both the injured girls were rushed to GMC Hospital for treatment, where their condition is stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, a case FIR No. 136/2017 under Sections 279 and 337 RPC has been registered against the driver of the
vehicle at the concerned
Police Station and further proceedings started.
