JAMMU: Twenty one days Summer Volleyball Coaching Camp for under 16 years age group (Boys) of J&K State commenced here at JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani on Saturday.
The camp was inaugurated by Sidharth Daluja President Volleyball Association of J&K. Earlier, 28 players drawn from different parts including remote corners of J&K State were shortlisted from 80 players in 2-day selection trials held at M.A Stadium Jammu.
The camp has been sponsored by JKPS Kunjwani for the first time by providing free boarding and lodging facilities besides infrastructure required for the aforesaid sporting event.
Sidharth Daluja wished the campers all the best for learning latest techniques for playing volleyball during the camp and exhorted upon them to glorify the name of the State in the field of volleyball game at national and international levels.
The coaching camp is being conducted under the supervision of Sajad Hussain International Volleyball Coach and Naresh Kumar NIS qualified coach.
Brig. Sukhdev Singh Director JKPS Kunjwani, H.S Gill Executive Vice-President, Kuldip Magotra CEO, Vijay Magotra Honourary General Secretary, R.C Sharma Treasurer, Mohammad Tariq, Executive Member, Akbar Ali Office Secretary of the Volleyball Association of J&K, Azhar Aziz Raina Volleyball Coach Staff and members of the management of the host school were also present.
