JAMMU: Police on Friday arrested one Narco smuggler and recovered 190 gms of heroin from his possession.
A party of Police Station Nagrota and District Police Component laid a Nakka at TCP Nagrota and intercepted one vehicle (Tempo) coming from Kashmir towards Jammu.
During search of the luggage of the passengers sitting in the vehicle, police recovered 190 gms of heroin like substance from one passanger.
In this regard, a case under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Nagrota and further investigation of the case is going to ascertain the source and destination of the drug.
The arrest and recovery was made with the guidance of SHO Police Station Nagrota Inspector Bhushan Singh Manhas under the closed supervision of SDPO Nagrota, Dr Amit Sharma and SP Rural, Arun Gupta.
