NEW DELHI: To mark the World Environment Day, the Women Welfare Wing of Northern Railway, popularly known as Northern Railway Women Welfare Organisation (NRWWO) on Monday planted saplings at various locations of Northern Railway.
The activities were led by the President of NRWWO, Mansi Kulshrestha.
Kulshrestha along with other members of NRWWO visited to Adharshila Nursery School, Railway Officers Club and the Health Unit of Northern Railway located at Sardar Patel Marg, New Delhi and planted the saplings of Ashok, Neem and Mango trees at these locations. They also visited and planted saplings at Northern Railway, Headquarters Office, Baroda House, New Delhi.
Dr. Renu Kapoor, Secretary of the organisation, Members of NRWWO, Chief Medical Director, Northern Railway, officers and staff were also present on the occasion and landed their helping hands to make the event successful.
