REASI: Making a scathing attack on BJP-PDP Coalition Government, Panthers Party’s State President and former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia blamed that suffering of common many in present regime has increase many fold. He criticised the BJP-PDP for its utter failure to control the situation in Kashmir which is deteriorating day by day.
Movement started for separate statehood for Jammu by Panthers Party reached Katra on Monday after covering Mahore, Jijh Bhagli, Salal and Talwara of Reasi District. Haq-Insaaf Yatra is receiving tremendous response from the people of Jammu region. While addressing the gatherings at different stations, Mankotia criticised the BJP-PDP Coalition Govt which has failed to control the present law and order situation of Kashmir.
Mankotia said situation in Kashmir is deteriorating day by day and sufferings of people have increased manifold. People of Jammu region are the worst sufferers of Kashmir situation as they fail to reach civil secretariat Srinagar for early redressal of their grievances. Panther party and other organisations raised the demand to start civil secretariat at winter capital Jammu and ministers can finalised pending work and grievances of people can be addressed, Mankotia regretted. Criticising the coalition partner BJP, former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia said when party was not in power, their leaders used to raise issue of discrimination faced by the people of Jammu but after assuming power, they are more concerned about Kashmir neglecting genuine issue of Jammu people. Earlier, during summer season ministers used to sit in civil secretariat to listen the grievances and problems being faced by them, Mankotia said.
Unfortunately, BJP after assuring power forced people of Jammu region to run from pillar to post for petty works in Kashmir which is injustice with people of Jammu region and Panthers Party would not tolerate such callous attitude of the government.
