JAMMU: Ace Fencer Vansh Mahajan got 17th rank in Sabre event in Navy Open Fencing Championship at Bangkok, Thailand.
Displaying extraordinary fencing skills and showing composure, promise, grit and guts, national medalist Vansh Mahajan, who represented Indian team, qualified his pool and entered in Pre-Quarter final stage in Navy Open Fencing Championship being held from 2nd to 5th June at Bangkok, Thailand.
This is the first time an Ace Fencer in his category from J and K State has achieved such a milestone in an individual event in international level for entering in pre-quarter final of the championship. Vansh gave credit of his achievement to his Coach Chotu Lal.
