JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party is fully committed to the final resolution of Kashmir issue as stated by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, said Brig Anil Gupta, State Spokesperson of BJP in a statement issued here on Thursdya.
“The party is also aware of the fact that a meaningful dialogue with all real stake holders is also needed but the question is as who are the real stake holders,” questioned Brig Gupta.
Taking note of the statement made by Sartaj Madani, Vice President PDP in which he has recommended dialogue with all stake holders including Hurriyat and Pakistan,” Brig Gupta said that the Bharatiya Janata Party does not consider these two as the real stake holders.
Brig Gupta also drew the attention of PDP leader to the Agenda of Alliance which does not make any reference to talks with Hurriyat by the Coalition Government. Under the heading “Political Initiatives”, Para 3 of Page 7 of the Agenda of Alliance (AoA) quoted “the Coalition Government will facilitate and help initiate a sustained and meaningful dialogue with all internal stake holders, which will include all political groups irrespective of their ideological views and predilections. This dialogue will seek to build a broad based consensus on resolution of all outstanding issues of J and K.” Where is Hurriyat mentioned in this, reiterated the Spokesperson?
Modi-led BJP Government is determined to restore normalcy in Kashmir but will not give in to violence and Pak sponsored terror, asserted the Spokesperson.
