RAJOURI: Police foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing two bovines from the clutches of the smuggler.
According to a report, during the intervening night of 31st May -1st June 2017, on a specific information In-Charge Police Post Chingus SI Fareed Ahmed laid a Naka at Chatyari, Rajouri. During Naka checking, police seized a Tata mobile (JK11B-4673) and rescued two bovines which were loaded in it, however bovine smugglers fled away from the spot.
A case vide FIR No. 223/2017 under section 188 RPC 3 PC Act was registered at Police Station Rajouri.
